Meet Featured Diva Gregory Anne Cox
1) What plans do you have for the summer months as it relates to your business?
June saw the launch of my first audio product as well as the completion of another successful call with my midlife supplements for women expert Patti Milligan. I’m finishing up the foundational pieces for my 3 new coaching programs right now to launch mid-July with the intention of helping people get a jump on their lifestyle goals before the end of the year so they can beat the New year resolution blues.
I’m also making contacts with women’s health experts to fill the slots for my upcoming monthly mind and body power hours.
2) What recommendations can you offer to women to keep them motivated during the summer?
Summer is a great time to dream the big dreams and do the small stuff. We all need a break and the mental concept of summer, regardless of the weather, calls us to enjoy some leisure time. That said, it’s a great time to take care of tolerations and plan for the months ahead.
Staying motivated is easy if you are excited about what’s on the calendar that needs some attention.
And the TLC of time off or the occasional hour reading in the sun balanced by some on target marketing or organizing of files on the computer keeps you in front of your computer and in the game of building your business.
3) What advice do you have for fellow businesswomen who want to understand how to make social media work for them?
I suspect that there are at least 50 experts who offer value in this area. Check out a few, pick one that resonates and then follow their program or suggestions. There are many ways to get to Rome, but changing course every couple of miles will make the journey twice as long and arduous.
4) What’s your favorite social media site and why?
I’m not sure I have a favorite site. I love twitter cause it’s a perfect tool for the hyper/AADD—that’s adult attention deficit disorder—diva.
I use Facebook but don’t love it as much as I did before the big change. Always looking to know what others are doing.
5) Are there any new projects you’re working on that you’d like the general public to know about?
Right now I’m really excited about the book I’m working on with my dear friend Patti Milligan MS, RD. We held 2 Power Hour calls for midlife women on managing the symptoms of midlife—from weight gain to hot flashes, and sleep disorders to why we need to love our livers—and realized that the information we have can’t be found in one place. Also our strength as a team is this, she has the science background and I’m the one who turns it into easily digestible bites. She makes recommendations and I coach women on how to apply that to their day to day lives.
One of my new coaching programs—Urgent Care 911 Coaching is for women who have either gotten a diagnosis of ill health and need to make changes in their lifestyle or they just feel they are sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. This is very deep, intense coaching but the results transform not only the physical person the heart and soul of the woman as well.
6) How can someone get in touch with you?
