What advice do you have for women who are looking to start a business?

It’s an old piece of advice but do something that you love. If it feeds your soul and something you believe in then it will be easier to be to overcome obstacles and keep going in the direction you want.

What advice do you have for women who are frustrated with where they are in life right now?

If you are in an environment that is toxic to you that can be unhealthy. Nothing is worth risking your health or peace of mind. It is time to make a change and soon. However not everyone is able to leave their current situation while they find a new path. But nothing can stop you from making a plan or thinking about what else you would like to do or go with your life and making that change when you are ready. Stay open and aware at, all times, to your instincts, passions and any opportunity or sign that may come your way. Listen and investigate. When it feels right you go for it. Make a plan but stay spontaneous. Surround yourself with positive people who support you and want you to succeed. But you will have to dig deep inside because you must believe in yourself and find the courage to embark on the new journey.

What are your keys to success?

I just don’t listen to the naysayers. Tell me I can’t do it or it won’t work and it will have the opposite result. I’ll just work harder. I also try to not look at how much money I’m making or not making. Though that is essential for survival, if I believe in what I’m doing, the most important thing to me is if I am fulfilling my vision creatively in whatever I do. In today’s world where everything is judged by how much money you make or how much power you have I feel successful if I have weathered the storms and have reached people and have stayed true to myself and my vision. I believe that leads to financial success as well.
