Which letter in “h.u.n.k. best describes you and why? I strive to be helpful and understanding, but being kind has been a top personal priority since being blessed with the young special needs man that came into my life fifteen years ago and for whom my wife and I are caregivers. Scotty, blind since birth and with other disabilities, is my daily inspiration to listen better, understand better and be kinder to all whose path I cross on the journey of life.H” because I’m always ‘hopeful’ and view the problems and challenges encountered in everyday life as if the glass were half full.
What qualities do I look for in a woman? I am blessed with a large number of woman clients, mentees and friends.. The common denominator is that they are all woman who – each in their own way – are doing things to make the world we live in a better place. None of us can change the world. Each of us can do our part to make the world a kinder, gentler, and more supportive place. Each of us can touch the lives of others…to make their life a little brighter. In the words of Mother Teresa “Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.

Which letter in h.u.n.k.best describes you and why: I have a natural talent for building teamwork and helping others reach their full potential. I help others to stretch beyond the boundaries that they may not have thought possible. I lived in South Africa for 3 years, and worked with students and business leaders to help prepare them to work in a Global environment. When my time there ended, some of our friends hosted a farewell ceremony for us, and gave me the name “Thuso” (pronounced TOO-so) – which means “the helper.” They recognized an aspect of my leadership that I had not focused on. From that point forward, I have embraced my role as a helper.
What qualities do you look for in a woman? This is an interesting question. I have been married for 44 years, so I don’t look for qualities in a woman. I have come to admire these qualities in my wife: Godly faith, kindness, devotion to family, intelligent, diligent worker, care for the needs of others, and confident humility.

Which letter in h.u.n.k. best describes you and why? “K seems to fit, although I am still working on it. Kindness flows out of appreciation and respect. I try to appreciate and respect everyone and I think other positive attributes may flow from it, such as understanding, and helpfulness. I picked the very best role model I could find and I’m working from there. The role model I look to and worship is Jesus Christ. Everything else just pales by comparison.”
What qualities do you look for in a woman? “I don’t generally look for specific qualities in women, however the qualities that I appreciate are a healthy sense of self, spirituality/belief in God, good sense of humor is a bonus and a sincere and non-self consious smile is a double bonus. These are some of my wife’s qualities, so I am thankful to be blessed with a good partner.”

Because I feel really blessed to have married the most wonderful person I have ever met. I introduce her as “my much better half” because she truly is. She is loving and kind and caring and supportive and strong and she is always willing to listen attentively and help anyone who crosses her path. .
